Mylar wraps are used with HeviShot, tungsten and steel loads as a protective barrier between pellets and barrels. This extra measure of protection has saved many barrels from being scored by a rogue pellet.

Simply curl the wrap into a tube in your fingers then place it inside the shotcup just before you drop the pellets. The wrap will fit tightly against the wad and not interfere with patterns.
