CX-Base 20ga 18mm wad (250/bag)

The CX-Base Wad is a symmetrical cushioned wad platform with a very short shotcup. The design enhances wider patterns and improved short-range performance with a wide peripheral shot spread. It is similar to our Brush Wads, but the CX has a more rigid cushion section, making it more suitable for slug and buckshot loads.

The short shotcup of the CX-Base wad 20ga is unslit. It does NOT need to be slit prior to loading.  Shot will release from the short cup and those pellets generally concentrate in the middle of the spreading pattern. Made in Italy.
