MEC Smooth-Cone Spindex Crimp Starter #1308462S
for paper hulls

The Spindex is MEC's nylon-molded crimp starter kit. This is a low-cost replacement for the heads that become worn over time.

• Paper cone kit fits pre- and post-'85 MEC models
• For crimp starting previously fired paper hulls
• This kit contains one (1) crimp head, the Pivot Pin (8419) and the Nuts (8476)

NOTE: If you are crimping new, unfired hulls you may need the increased sharpness and crimp depth supplied by the brass-machined Super Crown Crimp Starter. (See information below.)
