They have a fully machined brass head with spring loaded brass firing pin to protect your fine shotgun. The woolly section extends into the chamber and protects from rust. A fine film of oil, such as: ProShot 1-Step treatment or Clenzoil Field & Range solution, will deliver long-term protection against corrosion for shotgun chambers in long-term storage from season to season. Because of their ability to retain protective oils, these are our staff's favorite snap caps.
These snap caps are for over/under and side-by-side shotguns. Not recommended for semi-automatic shotguns.
