| Others may have success with this wad but Im just not seeing it. Ive tried 2 different loadings direct from BP manual with exact components and with both I get the sound of loose powder rattling around under the wad. From my experience how I was taught this isnt supposed to happen. Compression, no matter how much, doesnt help. The rounds did go bang, but performance just wasnt there. Maybe Im overthinking it and loose powder under a wad is safe, but I just dont see that in any other loading Ive ever done. Ill probably trade them off. | ||

| The Gualandi SG20L wad works very well with Alliant 20/28 powder in a Federal Top Gun hull. The larger diameter 20 gauge Gualandi wad fits the Federal Top Gun straight wall hull better than wads designed for a tapered hull. | ||
